Meaning:
• When we decide to do an act of
worship to please Allah (swt), it is very important that we make a firm
intention.
Parts of Neeyat:
• For whom are you doing worship?
• Which act of worship are you doing?
Benefits of Neeyat:
• There is a difference between
worship and habit.
• Every act of worship is different;
which is determined by your Neeyat.

When should you do
Neeyat?
• Before every act of worship
E.g. before Wudhu, Ghusl, Salah etc…
Should Neeyat be done orally?
• Neeyat should be done in the heart
and not spoken in words.
Do we get Sawaab only
on Good Neeyat?

Yes.

If a person intends to
do evil but due to fear of Allah he does not commit that act, then will he get
the benefit of a good deed?

Yes.

do an evil act but fails to do it, then will he be a sinner?

Can a person make a
Neeyat to do an act which will benefit him in this World and the Hereafter?

Is a Right Intention enough
for a deed to be accepted?

No.
Along with your right intention it is
very important that the Sunnah of the Prophet (pbuh) should be followed, for
